The AC100+ Gold is a two-component vinylester adhesive anchoring system. The system includesinjection adhesive in plastic cartridges, mixing nozzles, dispensing tools and hole cleaning equipment. The AC100+ Gold is designed for bonding threaded rod and reinforcing bar elements into drilled holes in concrete and masonry base materials. Installed as per the manufacturer’s instructions, it is suitable for anchoring glue-in bolts. Working and curing times depend on temperature, sets grey .

This stuff has almost no load reduction when installed in rock/concrete with a low temperature. This is extremely important to me as I do most of my anchoring in the winter months.
Other than that fact, it doesn’t smell quite as bad as others I have used (namely A7) and doesn’t irritate my hands as bad either when I make a mess.
I do have a problem with the actual tube though. After installing bolts, you don’t always use a full tube of epoxy. The way the tube is designed, there are three plastic “guides” that seem keep the bottom in place. After removing the tube from the gun (heavy duty caulking type), the plastic “guides” easily get caught on the gun’s plunger upon re-installation. If this happens, there is a chance that the tube’s plunger will lose it’s seal with the wall of the tube. This allows resin to escape out the back preventing proper mixture and also making a mess. At this point what ever is left in the tube has become useless and needs to be discarded.
My recommendation would be to reevaluate the tube design to prevent this from happening. My immediate fix is to leave the tube in the gun until it’s totally spent.
