Right Handed Ascender (Out of Stock)

This is the best piece of aid I own. I use it in many situations including setting routes in the gym and it has been the work horse piece for me. It is so well constructed and it stands out so I never get it confused for anyone else’s ascender.

I’ve only put 100 ft on these in a tree, so this is hardly an exhaustive review. That being said, however, first impressions have been extremely favorable. For one thing, they are the easiest to manipulate with one hand, even wearing gloves. They also excel when comes to downclimbing, and are especially good for pushing the cam down with your index finger rather than “thumbing the cam,” which I consider rather hazardous. They climb well, both on dry and wet rope. I’ll probably give ’em 5 stars after I use them more.
